About the position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the Cerba Lancet Africa company policies and procedures.
  • Follow the Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
  • Drive the Cerba Lancet Africa values.
  • Attend to queries received from other stakeholders, resolve and escalate difficult queries to the HOD Cashiering to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Print the total list of transaction (drawer list) on daily basis and reconcile cash collected.
  • Close cash drawers with grand totals for the day and reopen with zero balances for the next day.
  • Prepare banking and ensure that all the money enclosed in fidelity bags correspond with the money receipted and showing on drawer details and on bank deposit slips. Complete DCUS and Float hand over control book.
  • Prepare banking documents and handover with cash to the HOD Cashiering and banking for safety purposes
  • Receiving samples and confirm that information on samples correspond with data that has been loaded on the system by the cashier.
  • Administer sorting and distribution of samples according to set standard operating procedures to ensure the correct and prioritised channelling of specimens to various laboratory sites. This includes the monitoring and resolving of courier tracking reports.
  • Reconcile manual receipts registers to ensure that all raised receipts by sites are allocated and properly accounted for.
  • Attend to cashiering and Banking queries.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisors

  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • HR system management end user/employee self service
  • Knowledge of the business, processes, and services.

Qualifications

  • 5 O’ Levels Subjects, Advance Level that includes Accounting,
  • Relevant diploma/ degree in accounting
  • 1-3years working experience.
  • Ability to handle work- related pressure,Good communication skills (oral and written English)
